Turkish Cypriots are due to vote for a new president to replace veteran leader Rauf Denktash, who is retiring.
The candidate widely expected to succeed him is Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat, an enthusiastic supporter of the island's reunification.
Whatever the result of this election, politics in Cyprus will change radically after Sunday's vote. "
