TURKS living on the Gallipoli Peninsula are outraged with the garbage left by Australians and New Zealanders who attended Monday's Dawn Service, labelling it a disgrace.
But as Turkish park workers yesterday struggled to clean up the historic battlefield, Prime Minister John Howard said the 17,000 tourists had been great ambassadors for Australia."
