"Turkish and Israeli PMs mend fences
Rising Turkish-Israeli tensions over the visit of a Hamas delegation last week to Ankara have apparently been nipped in the bud by a bilateral phone call at the highest level of government.
Acting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert called his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan late on Wednesday, and told him, 'We want to look to the future instead of the past,' according to a statement released by Ankara's Prime Ministry. 'We want develop our mutual relations further,' he added.
Underlining the importance attached by the Israeli side to the friendship with Turkey, Olmert expressed his 'confidence' in Erdogan."
