"Turkish - Dutch Economic Cooperation
ANKARA - Turkey and the Netherlands on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding aiming to increase private sector investments.
Treasury Undersecretary's office released a statement and said the memorandum of understanding targeted to increase Dutch investments in Turkey.
The statement said the agreement was within the scope of Economic Cooperation Program with Rising Markets.
Although bilateral trade volume between the two countries reached 4.6 billion USD in 2005, it is necessary to further improve economic relations, the statement added.
Around 4-6 new projects are expected to be approved together with the new memorandum of understanding.
