Abdullah Gul, the Foreign Minister of Turkey, admits it was wrong of him to define the news media as apt to be manipulated by secret services, a phrase he used to rebuke some news media companies for defending Israel far more than Israel did itself over the HAMAS visit. Gul expressed that his statement can easily be misunderstood and urged “self-control” on behalf of the news media in Turkey."
