THE property market is Turkey is already taking off, despite uncertainty about EU membership. With prices a fraction of those on the Costa del Sol, British investors are rushing to buy property along Turkey’s Turquoise coast, which ex-tends from Bodrum to Antalaya, where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean.
Property prices in many coastal areas have doubled over the past two years and show no sign of stopping. When the low-cost airlines arrive in due course, property values will soar. The region is served by airports at Izmir and Bodrum on the Aegean, and Dalaman and Antalya on the Mediterranean, offering direct flights to many UK destinations in four hours."
