"Turkish - American Relations Improving Since June 2005, Alpogan
WASHINGTON D.C. - Turkish National Security Council (MGK) Secretary General Yigit Alpogan remarked that Turkish-American relations have passed through a tough period as of the end of 2004.
''There were some circles who wanted to create an atmosphere of crisis between the two countries. However, Turkish-American relations have been improving since June 2005,'' told Alpogan.
Alpogan is in Washington D.C. upon an invitation from U.S. National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley.
Alpogan talked to Turkish journalists in Washington D.C."
