Turkey took a new step on the Cyprus issue on Jan. 24. The day in 2004 in Davos that Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan told U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan to fill in those blanks in the Annan plan that the sides failed to reach agreement on was also Jan. 24."
