"PKK uses drugs to finance terror

Terrorist organizations started drug smuggling to finance their activities following the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks in the U.S., according to a new police report.
The Turkish police reported there have been 333 cases of drug smuggling cases linked to terrorist organizations such as the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), the Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia (ASALA), the Turkish Communist Party/Marxist-Leninist (TKP/ML) and the Revolutionary People's Liberation Party / Front (DHKP/C) since 1984."
