There's a saying in English that goes �No news is good news,� the Turkish version of which can be translated as �Bad news spreads quicker.� Last week Ankara State Opera's chief pianist, Fügen Serbest, and bass singer Bülent Ateşoğlu went to Huntington, West Virginia, where they were invited for a concert. Tenor Ömer Yılmaz passed away when they were en route to the United States, followed by the death of archivist and music critic Asım Cem Konuralp."
