"'Turkey has become effective donor country'

Turkey's annual technical and development assistance abroad is now over $340 million and it's become an effective donor country, according to Hakan Fidan, chair of the Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA).
In an exclusive interview with The New Anatolian, Fidan said Turkey is now aiming to upgrade its status at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development's (OECD) Development Assistance Committee (DAC) from an observer to member country. "
