A Washington Times columnist leveled harsh criticism at a visit by a delegation from Palestine's election-winner Hamas last month by saying that Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founding father of the modern Turkish Republic, would have thought twice before double-crossing a friendly power like Arab-beleaguered Israel."
