"Israel determined to strengthen relations with Ankara

Israel, fresh out of this week's general elections, wants to arrange a swift visit of its future foreign minister to Ankara, even before the formation of the new Cabinet, Israeli sources said yesterday.
The swift nature of the visit underlines the intention of Israel to seek steadier relations with Turkey, according to the same sources.
'Whoever becomes foreign minister, one of their first foreign visits will be definitely to Ankara,' said an Israeli official. 'We already agreed with Ankara about this visit.' "
