Turkey-EU Joint Parliamentary Commission Co-Chair Joost Lagendijk said the European Union made crucial mistakes regarding Cyprus.
Lagendijk in his speech at a panel discussing Turkey-EU relations for the 25th anniversary conference of the American-Turkish Council and Turkish American Labor Council cited: “The EU has made crucial mistakes on Cyprus. It is therefore difficult to obtain a ground. Turkey is right to ask the EU ‘to keep its promise’.”"
