"Tajikistan : First textile unit with Turkish aid

Turkey is fast emerging as an important financier in the world as it is the largest investor in Turkmenistan's domestic textile sector.
A new textile manufacturing plant is being built in Tajikistan by a Turkish group, which will include spinning, weaving and cut -sew operation.
This is the first new textile plant to be planned here, in years.
Spinning operation is expected to consume 8,000 tons of cotton each year."
