The Turkish Parliament will meet today to discuss and vote on whether to dispatch an unspecified number of Turkish peacekeepers to Lebanon to serve with forces from some European Union countries and help implement the U.N. Security Council's cease-fire resolution. If Israel agrees to the presence of troops from Islamic countries that do not recognize the Jewish state, the peacekeeping force will also include contributions from other Islamic states. "
