TUNCELI, Turkey, Sept 28 (Reuters) - The son of a Turkish provincial leader was kidnapped on Sunday by Kurdish PKK separatist militants who stopped his car, the provincial governor's office said on Thursday.
The kidnapping in the southeastern province of Tunceli was made public as jailed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Ocalan called for a ceasefire.
"Serdar Suroglu was kidnapped when his car was stopped by a group of 8 to 10 people from the PKK on his way to the provincial capital," the governor said in a statement."
