ONLY the unyielding persistence to the just cause would lead the country to its own resurrection, the Church said in its Easter message yesterday.
It urged everyone to rally round the political leadership and unite against the Turkish occupation of the island.
�Without possessing feelings of hatred and animosity towards the Turkish Cypriots, who, like us, are victims of the Turkish invasion, we fight for the application of human rights for all inhabitants of Cyprus,� the Church said.
As always, the Church has been observing developments with a sense of responsibility; it feels the concerns of the faithful and continues to fight and pray for a just solution of the Cyprus problem, the message said."
