Lagendijk: Papadopoulos' only concern is to be reelected

European Union-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee Chairman Joost Lagendijk prepared a report on the Cyprus problem after visiting the island last month. In the report released over the weekend, Lagendijk clearly blames Greek Cypriot leader Tassos Papadopoulos for deadlocking the solution process, and called for a removal of the international embargo against the Turkish Cypriots."
