Arbil, Iraq - A Kurdish party leader said Tuesday the Kurdish autonomous region in Iraq would not be part of the crisis between the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and Turkey. Leaders and members of the both the Patriotic Alliance of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party met Monday and agreed that the Kurdish autonomous region was not and would not be part of the struggle between Turkey and the PKK, the party leader said."
