BRUSSELS, Belgium: French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Wednesday steps up his campaign for a succinct European Union treaty to replace the stalled constitution project as he makes his first visit to EU headquarters since taking office last week.
Sarkozy will also discuss with European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso whether the EU should continue entry talks with Turkey and how to push through economic reforms."
