For so many years Ankara was enjoying a relatively terror-free atmosphere compared to İstanbul. Maybe this was due to stricter security measures as Ankara is the capital city. Months ago I saw with my own eyes how the situation started to deteriorate. When, in the heart of the city, gangs armed with swords and knives started to engage in bloody fights, I conveyed to you all how panic-stricken I was becoming. "
