Ahmet Vefik Alp, an awarded city planner, is among the first to suggest a ‘tube passage’ in Istanbul. After long debates, the construction of the Marmaray project, a ‘150 year old dream,’ finally started. Alp says that a third bridge and a tube passage will be insufficient for Istanbul"
