It has been revealed that during the illegal demonstrations in the southeastern Anatolia region, children were paid 10 to 20 new Turkish liras (YTL) to throw stones at police and shops.
During the incidents, which broke out after four of the 14 Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) members killed in Mus had been buried in Diyarbakir, 3,000 people attacked the police and damaged work places in a four hour long demonstration in Baglar, Melikahmet, Kurucesme, and Emek of Diyarbakir."
