"Guler confirms toxic waste found in Istanbul municipality

The barrels found buried in Tuzla Municipality recently contain toxic substances and will be transported to a safer place, confirmed Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler on Tuesday
He added that it's unknown exactly how many barrels are buried there and that the entire area will be excavated until all the barrels have been located and removed. 'We'll declare the area off-limits and control entry and exits to it,' announced Guler."
