Greeks see Turkey as the big prize

IT WORRIED the IMF, troubled the European Commission and spooked the Turkish currency, but it didn’t faze a bunch of Greek bankers.
This week’s takeover by National Bank of Greece of Turkey’s Finansbank for €2.3 billion (£1.6 billion) is a small endorsement of Turkey’s prospects within Europe but an important one, given the strange goings-on in Ankara."
