"Annan Sends Gul Letter in Connection to Cyprus Issue

New York. UN Secretary General Kofi Annan sent letter to Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul, Turkish newspaper Hurriyet reads today.
The letter indicates that Annan has examined the last Turkish action plan on the Cyprus issue.
The letter was written on March 28th and with it Kofi Annan assures he will very soon answer Turkey’s proposals for solving the Cyprus issue, which were announced by Abdullah Gul on January 24th, the newspaper notes. "
