Austria, which currently holds the European Union's term presidency, is readying to press Turkey for the return of Maraş (Varosha) to the Greek Cypriots in exchange for the opening of the Turkish Cypriot port of Gazimagusa (Famagusta) to international trade under the control of the European Commission, according to Greek Cypriot news reports based on EU sources."
