"P.K.K. Is A Terrorist Organization, European Commission
STRASBOURG - The European Commission condemned terrorist acts of PKK in Turkey.
On its session about the recent developments occurring in Turkey's Southeastern region, the Commission called on Turkey not to use extreme force while settling the incidents.
European Commissioner (on public health) Markos Kyprianou said that PKK is a terrorist organization, and it is involved in EU's terrorist organizations list.
Noting that terrorism in no way can be justified, Kyprianou said that PKK creates tension in Southeastern Anatolia through provocations."
