By Staff Reporter
President Christofias and Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat have been nominated with four other candidates for European Man of the Year..
The award is given annually by the newspaper European Voice, a publication that covers EU affairs.
Organisers say the two Cyprus leaders have been nominated for reviving hope of an end to the dispute over Cyprus.
The two men are currently in Strasbourg to address the Council of Europe, but it is unclear if they have scheduled a joint meeting there."
