Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis on Saturday afternoon spoke at the 63rd UN General Assembly in New York, where she opened her address by quoting Sophocles, 'to err from the right path is common to all mankind.'
She stressed that Greece subscribes wholeheartedly to the goals of limiting damage from the worst of those errors and lives up to the mandate of the United Nations. 'My government subscribes to the views in the address delivered by Nicolas Sarkozy of France in his capacity as President of the EU,' she said."
