Turkey's chief EU negotiator Ali Babacan has said he is confident the country can overcome any obstacles to gaining membership of the organisation. Speaking after the joint parliamentary commission meeting between Turkey and the EU, Mr Babacan said he was confident all the required reforms necessary to clear a path to membership would be implemented, reports The New Anatolian."
