Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed a remarkable speech to Turkish Kurds after he admitted that improving their Democratic rights would stem separatism and halt Kurdistan Workers Party activities. While stressing that democracy is the best way to fight terrorism, Erdogan attacked rebels in a televised speech he addressed during a meeting of Justice and Development Party which he presides. He affirmed that Ankara has reached a decisive stage in fighting rebels who are cornered from all directions due to the international support. In addition, Turkish Prime Minister called on “terrorists” to lay down weapons while reiterating his ministry’s readiness to send additional military reinforcements on the borders if necessary."
