Turkish carrier Atlasjet says this Boeing MD-83, which crashed while preparing to land at Isparta early on 30 November with the assumed loss of all forty-nine passengers and seven crew, suddenly lost contact with tower controllers during approach, adding that there was no immediate indication of a technical problem, and weather and visibility were good."
