"IMF team concludes Turkey talks

ANKARA: A team of experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) left Turkey yesterday after concluding its latest review of the country's progress under a 10-billion dollar IMF loan programme, the Anatolia news agency reported. The team reached consensus with Turkish authorities on the draft budget for 2007 and fiscal policies, the agency said, quoting anonymous officials at the treasury.
The two sides also reached agreement on maintaining a 6.5-per cent primary budget surplus, or surplus excluding debt repayments, it added. "
