"Cyprus warns Turkey on EU entry

NICOSIA, Cyprus (Reuters) -- Cyprus has warned of a 'serious problem' in Turkey's negotiations to join the European Union unless it opens its ports to Cypriot traffic by the end of the year.
In some of the strongest language from Nicosia yet, Cypriot President Tassos Papadopoulos said Turkey could not dictate or impose conditions on the EU."
