"Turkish Peace Brigade settles in Es Saitiye
Turkish troops in Lebanon, who arrived at Beirut’s harbour Friday to serve under the United Nations, have set up a base camp in the village of Es Saitiye in Sur. The troops, who are called the Turkish Peace Brigade, secured the area before building communal facilities including kitchens, washrooms and bathrooms. They then pitched the tents they will live in while serving in Lebanon. The soldiers also took efforts to befriend locals in the area, joking and playing with children. "
