Olli Rehn, the EU Commissioner for enlargement, has recently made an explanation for a Finnish news agency about Turkey and its ongoing negotiation process with the EU. The most striking expressions that he used were the ones about the linkage between Cyprus issue and the talks concerning Turkey's accession to the EU. Accordingly, it could be possible for Turkey’s negotiation talks to be suspended if Turkey does not open its ports to Greek Cypriot traffic. "
