Turkey's Investor Advisory Council holds its third annual meeting in Istanbul today to discuss how the country can attract more foreign direct investment (FDI). The meeting coincides with a period of market turmoil, which has highlighted the dangers of reliance on short-term capital inflows such as investments in local bond and stock markets."
