The Junior European Basketball Championships in İzmir saw Serbia emerge as the champions after overcoming the Turkish squad 64-58. Serbia dominated the first period which ended 20-16 as the Turks found it difficult to score free shots - but the red and whites held on with Ersan's effective game."
