Chana Garrett is a long way from home. Her home in Turkey, that is. This Nacogdoches native, daughter of Bert and Charlene Rees, and her husband, Joshua Garrett, are here for the summer.
Chana arrived in February for a family visit, which was extended because of her father's illness. With a baby due in July, she decided to stay. Joshua arrived in May, and Annabelle Ashley Garrett was born June 17 at Nacogdoches Medical Center."
