According to a recent survey released Wednesday by Eurobarometer, the EU institution responsible for public opinion polls, 52 percent of Turks support Turkey's bid for EU membership, a two percent decrease since last fall. Support for the EU within EU countries is at its highest since 1994, with 57 percent backing the EU, a four point hike since last fall."
