"Turkey becomes automotive manufacturing center
Turkey, which started mass production of automobiles with 'Anadol' in 1966, became an automotive center with foreign investments, it was reported on Wednesday. According to a study carried out by Chamber of Commerce in Central Anatolian city of Konya, the first automobile was manufactured in Turkey in 1961 with the name Anadol. Mass production of Anadol continued till 1982. "
