State Minister Ali Babacan said that 166.5 billion YTL of debt servicing was planned to be made in 2007.
Babacan announced that the economic management would begin to use “inflation-indexed bonds” for domestic borrowing beginning with year 2007. Minister Babacan also stated that, while primary surplus predictions in early 2006 in cash terms was 30.2 billion YTL, the projected figure for year 2006 is now standing at 38.4 billion YTL. "
