The law of Turkey is predominantly written law in the form of constitution, statutes, decrees having force of statutes (Kanun Hukmunde Kararname), decrees (Tuzuk)and regulations (yonetmelik). Other sources are customary and case law. Precedents plays a small part in legal practice."
