President Ahmet Necdet Sezer yesterday praised Ataturk's work to restructure and develop the Turkish education system and expressed his trust in teachers to continue to follow in the footsteps of the republic's founder.
In a written message marking Teachers' Day today, the president stressed the importance given by Ataturk to education from the very beginning of the republic. "
