"Talks With Turkey Now 'on Lower Level': Germany's Steinmeier
The European Union will continue accession talks with Turkey but "on a lower level," German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said Monday.
"The EU must be creative in order to make Turkey stick to its obligations towards the bloc, while at the same time try not to break off the process of mutual approachment," Steinmeier said after a regular meeting of EU, Arab and Israeli foreign ministers in the Finnish city Tampere.
