ISTANBUL - Turkish-U.S. Interparliamentary Friendship Group Chairman and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's Foreign Relations Consultant Egemen Bagis Wednesday refuted any tension between the Turkish and U.S. administrators.
Making a keynote statement at the General Assembly of the Turkish-American Business Council, Bagis said Turkey and the United States never clashed throughout their history.
''Turkey and U.S. never even came to the edge of war in their 200 years of history. This is a very important relationship. Turkish-U.S. relations is one of the cornerstones of foreign policy in both country,'' Bagis stressed. "
