A visit from Washington to the Turkish capital by a senior Democratic congressman last week led to a chilly breeze in Ankara as the congressman's remarks on a controversial visit to Ankara in February by the exiled leader of Hamas revealed that Washington's uneasiness with the visit was not easily repairable."
