"Two candidates can jointly be EU messenger in SE Europe
Greater contact between Turkey and Croatia will not only help in their respective accessions to the European Union, but also benefit southeastern Europe, according to Neven Mimica, who heads the Croatian Parliament's EU Harmonization Commission.
Mimica, in an exclusive interview with The New Anatolian on Tuesday, said that, for the initial stage of negotiations between a candidate country and the EU, the two countries needed to keep in close contact."
